New Beginnings
It all begins with an idea.
Today is the start of something new and I couldn’t be happier. It all began with a friend teaching me how to think differently about my needs, shopping and finding what I truly did need differently. In the past, I saved or charged to shop at Restoration Hardware, Room and Board, Crate and Barrel and the Pottery Barn. Maybe that’s you too? They are beautiful stores with super cute home décor.
The thing is…you really can get the same look for less. And it’s better for our planet. And sometimes you can find it for better quality too because older items were made in the United States.
So what gives? You have to hunt for it. You have to wait. You have to be willing to go to some pretty dusty places. It’s more work and you have to have the time to do it. Right now, I have the time. It’s actually the perfect time while taking care of my Mom. It gives us something fun to do together during her last season of life.
